- When found this fault code 26cf00 fuel supply pressure control:fuel supply pressure too low/positive control deviation store in control module, you need a high skill to solve this problem. As this fault code accumulate alot of sensor and actuator. With the help of scan tool check pressure of fuel in the fuel rail, if there is no enough (pressure of fuel may very according to engine) fuel pressure at the fuel rail than this fault code is confirmed.
- Now you need to check all the actuator and electrical parts which are listed above one by one to find out which part is faulty. Due to which there is a problem of low fuel pressure occuring in vehicle.
- First thing is to do in this situation is to check if fuel pump is working or not by turning the ignition key on and off . If fuel pump is working than its good, but if fuel pump does not working than go to check fuse of fuel pump control module or fuel pump control relay. If fuse is blown than replace that with new fuse, if fuel pump control module module is not working than replace that fuel pump control module with new one. Also check electrical power supply and ground to the fuel pump control module relay if power supply is there or not.
- Now check fuel pressure at the main pipe line of fuel at fuel filter. If fuel pressure is good before fuel filter than check fuel filter condition if fuel filter is block or not. When found fuel filter block than replace that block fuel filter which is reducing the pressure of fuel.
- After all this things check pressure of fuel after high pressure fuel pump. If there is no enough (pressure of fuel may very according to engine) fuel pressure after high pressure fuel pump than it means that there is some mechanical failure in the high pressure fuel pump. Replace that high pressure fuel pump with new one to solve this problem.
- If still there is a fault of low fuel pressure present in the system. Than check regulator valve, if regulator valve is block with some dirt or metal particals than clean that or replace that with new regulator valve. Now if still fault code is present in the system, than check fuel pressure sensor if it is faulty. Replace that faulty fuel pressure sensor with new one so that it can solve this problem.
How risky it is to drive with 26cf00 fuel supply pressure control :
When this fault code is store in control module, it means that there is a problem of fuel supply in vehicle. Which can be a very high risk to drive with this fault code. As it is possible that anytime fuel supply will stop due to which no start of engine can be seen.

- Replace faulty rail pressure sensor.
- Repair or replace faulty high pressure fuel pump.
